Application
1. Simply warm the pattern up on the model:
Before beginning with die wax work, adapt the palate pattern to the plaster model. To do this , lay the pattern on the model, heat it with hot air until the the material Shows plasticity and press it on (alternative: heat with hot water).
2. Accurate fitting:
Cut the palate pattern to size accordingly with shears or a Rotary cutter, heat and press on again. After cooling, lift it off the model and lay it aside. Model the base in pink wax as usual and put the teeth in place.
3. After wax Fitting of the prosthesis:
Insert pattern in the wax base and coat it evenly and competely with wax. The palate pattern is removed during scalding. Palatepatting can be used repeatedly.
